it's a little small though, it doesn't hold alot but it's good for when she goes camping. My grandma loved it, now she won't be losing the salt or pepper shaker.unless she loses the whole thing.
To improve it would be to make the 2 holes larger. The salt and pepper shakers are very contemporary. I was a little dissapointed. The Salt has 3 holes and shakes out perfect (however we use very little salt). However, the small pepper shaker (which we use most) does NOT shake out very much pepper. It is a very light shake.
I love them, I just wish they were a little bigger and dispensed a little more.
Don't bother purchasing. I bought this for my home and while it looks excelelnt, it functions sub-satisfactorily,and its overpriced. Especially since its not German-made anymore.
I would recommend to anyone wanting not just a cool s&p shaker, but something that stands out that no one else has. I bought mine in Germany 3 years ago to use on my dining room table and I and my husband (plus anyone who ever comes over) just love it. We have never had any issues with dispensing and it takes up no room on the table.
